- Angelo Paura is the global editorial director for Blasting News and Blasting News Fact Check. He focuses mostly on misinformation and false narratives, digital cultures, new media, technology, and politics. Angelo is also a consultant for NewsGuard and he runs a monthly newsletter about AI and journalism published by NYU, AP and NYC Media Lab. His work has been published in Italian and international media including Politico Europe, BBC World Service, MediaShift, ProPublica, Motherboard, International Center for Journalists, The Tow-Knight Center, BuzzFeed, Il Sole 24 Ore, Il Corriere della Sera, and Il Messaggero, where he is one of the outlet’s U.S. correspondents. He earned a master’s degree in engagement journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, New York. His one-year study of ethics and misinformation in VR journalism has been published in English, Chinese, Dutch, and Spanish. An Italian citizen and permanent resident of the United States, Angelo is based in New York.
- Martina Pagani is a content manager for Blasting News and Blasting News Fact Check Italy. She was born in Milan in 1993 and earned a master's degree in journalism in Turin. She has previously worked for La Stampa, Radio Popolare, Europa Today, Il Post and the European Parliament.
- Massimiliano Mattiello was born in Naples in 1991 and has lived in Rome since 2009. He is a content manager for Blasting News and Blasting News Fact Check Italy. Massimiliano earned a master's degree in journalism from Giorgio Bocca school of journalism in Turin and has worked for HuffPost, TPI and AGI.
- Manuel Caldarese worked as a journalist both in print and online, with experience in SEO writing for online platforms. Later, he transitioned into the tech industry, where he developed his career as a Product Manager for digital solutions. Currently, he specializes in generative AI.
- Stefano Lovi holds degrees in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Chieti and in Investigation, Crime, and International Security from Unint - the International University of Rome, where he is a PhD candidate in Global Studies & Innovation. His work focuses on the sociology of conspiracy theories, their origins, and the threats they pose to advanced democracies. He is the author of the book "Journey to the Center of Conspiracy Theories."
